Quartet of Active Pets for Bounty Bay Online

Frogster is about to expand the pet system in Bounty Bay Online in the upcoming expansion to the game, "Beyond the Horizon". Four new pets are being introduced and all pets will have new functions. The Hell Wolf, Ice Fairy, Shadow Reaper and Wild Bull are the new pets being introduced when the expansion will be released in the fourth quarter of 2009. The upcoming expansion will also contain a new continent in South America, six new towns, five new character classes, new mini-games, new instances and new PvP arenas and new tournaments.

The new pets will be able to be summoned with a special whistle that is available from the item shop. The will have traditional functions and values such as Loyalty, Health, Experience and Pet Level but they will also have additional attributes such as a "Damage Bonus" and "Critical Hit". The four new pets will have slots that players can utilize with equipment or exclusive skills. As these new companions will have their own inventories it will allow the player to use them to offer additional storage space. Players will be able to control their pets via the pets menu or by using an action bar.

With basic commands such as attack and follow and with their special skills these pets will serve a more supporting function rather than being passive companions. They will help protect the player with their hunting abilities and strong combat abilities. Players must look after their pets through and if not the pet may flee or even die.
