Players will now enjoy faster leveling, easier dungeons and an improved tutorial. The experience curve in the game has been improved to allow players to make more rapid progress and open up more quests, dungeons and skills sooner than they have been able to before. The difficulty level in some of the lower level dungeons has been brought down to aid beginning Dungeon Fighters and players starting out in the land of Arad will now receive enhanced lessons from the NPCs Seria and Linus who players meet at the beginning of their adventures.
Players can also get into the holiday spirit with the Holly Jolly DFO Christmas Celebration which started on December 16th and runs until January 5th. In "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow" one randomly selected hour everyday will see a layer of snow falling on the land. During the time players will receive a 20% experience bonus for clearing dungeons. Seria's Sanctuary has been decorated to spread holiday cheer to the players that visit her. After visiting her players can venture into the dungeons to hunt Christmas goblins who have robbed the citizens of Arad of their Christmas knick-knacks. One particular goblin, called Snowblin also drops a special snowball item. This thrown item delivers water damage and can freeze an opponent or even fellow party members if it isn't used with precision.
You can find out more information on the "Dawn of Retribution" update and all the Christmas events by visiting the Dungeon Fighter Online website.
